The door opens. The whole room stands up.
Timed to the doors, the music and the room.
The zaffa is the fifteen minutes of the night that decide the rest of it. We walk the room with your planner in advance, mark the entry, and cue the drummers to the exact second the doors move. Arabic, Lebanese, Afghan, Persian, blended, every procession is scored to your family's traditions, not a template we recycle. If the ceremony is on a beach or a ballroom, the crew adapts on site.
Formats we offer.
Grand Entrance
The classic ballroom door reveal, scored with a live band or the DJ, drumline leading the couple into the room on the crowd's energy.
Home Zaffa
An intimate procession at the residence with live singing, the family gathered on the drive or in the courtyard before you leave for the venue.
Venue Zaffa
The full procession staged at the event space, drumline, singers and dabke, cued to the doors of the ballroom or the ceremony space.
Dabke Show
A performance set that runs from traditional village dabke to modern choreography, either woven into the entrance or held back as dinner entertainment.
How the entrance runs.
Line-up
We line the wedding party, drummers and dabke behind the doors and cue the room.
Door reveal
Doors open, drums drop, and the two of you walk the aisle on the crowd's energy.
The circle
Guests circle in, drums stay locked, dabke pulls the family into the line.
Hand-off
Clean hand-off into the DJ or the ceremony without a beat missed.
A look at the room.
