Live Musicians
Real players, on top of the mix.
On the stand
Cultural music in the set, not as a novelty.
Saxophone over a house set at cocktail hour. Violin for the aisle. A percussionist riding on top of the DJ during the dance. And the zaffa drumline for the grand entrance. We program Arabic and other cultural music into the set the same way we program English pop — because it belongs there, not as a novelty. For one couple, our violinist learned a traditional song from a recording her family sent so it could play as she walked down the aisle.
Full zaffa experience
The full drumline lives under Zaffit El Omor.
We can add a percussionist or a small drum trio to any DJ set here. For the full zaffa — dabke line, tabla, mizmar, choreographed with the couple's entrance — head to our dedicated department.
