ZEO violinist and darbuka player performing together at a reception
Live Musicians

Real players, on top of the mix.

On the stand

Cultural music in the set, not as a novelty.

Saxophone over a house set at cocktail hour. Violin for the aisle. A percussionist riding on top of the DJ during the dance. And the zaffa drumline for the grand entrance. We program Arabic and other cultural music into the set the same way we program English pop, because it belongs there, not as a novelty. For one couple, our violinist learned a traditional song from a recording her family sent so it could play as she walked down the aisle.

Cultural and live entertainment

Beyond the DJ booth.

Belly Dancers

Classically trained performers for the entrance, the sahra, or a dinner feature, choreographed to your DJ set.

Sufi Tannoura

The traditional spinning tannoura performance, staged under warm light as a dinner moment before the dance opens.

Singers and Live Band

Vocalists and a full backing band for cocktail, ceremony, or a live set through dinner, tuned to your family's repertoire.

Solo instruments

Live over the mix.

Violin

Classical and Arabic violin for the aisle, first look and dinner underscore.

Saxophone

The signature ZEO sax, on its own or layered over the DJ for cocktail and reception peaks.

Mizmar

The traditional reed mizmar, cutting through the drumline for entrances and dabke.

Full zaffa experience

The full drumline lives under Zaffit El Omor.

We can add a percussionist or a small drum trio to any DJ set here. For the full zaffa, dabke line, tabla, mizmar, choreographed with the couple's entrance, head to our dedicated department.
